The Gods are Dead

Once the benevolent gardeners of the system, the corpses of machine god terraformers are now strip-mines for power beyond reckoning for those with the will to grasp it. Their bodies forged into Relics that grant tremendous power to their wielders, each corpse represents a chance at ascension to demi-godhood.

No greater source of Relic Tech exists than the Skull of the Primordial, a planetoid-sized machine-cranium adrift in a habitable nebula. Home to a massive colony of semi-sentient machine Ichor known as the Custodian, a three-way race is in progress to claim the great Breaker’s Relic Core before the Custodian consumes the bones of the dead god.

While the peace-keeping force known as the Wardens vies for control of the most precious resource in the galaxy, Relic Hunter clan Shattered Sun defends their territory with brutal fervor, and Voidsent horrors crawl through the bones of their millennia-old foe harvesting Ichor to some sinister end…

What is this?

Contained within is an 8-page setting document you can use with the RELIC tabletop roleplaying game (Coming Soon). You can also use the setting and dungeon room generation tools in any sci-fi or space fantasy setting. Included is information on the Skull of the Primordial, the factions at conflict therein, and a set of tables to generate rooms in the infinitely shifting interior of the Primordial.
